Children's Ministry

Catering for children ages 12 months to 12 years, our FCI Sunday school Motto is:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -  Philippians 4:13

Everything that we do is aimed to encourage children in the knowledge that they can do anything they set their heart and mind to through Christ.

Prayer & Prophetic Ministry

At FCI, we understand that:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.” Psalms 127:1

Although we make time in all of our services for prayer, our weekly prayer meeting is a time that has been specifically set aside for the church community to press into God to enable us receive His blueprint for what He would like us to do in our city.

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life. When we come together as a body of believers to pray and seek His face in prayer, not only is it our opportunity to declare out loud God’s word and His promises, it’s also an opportunity for us to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the church today so that we can be obedient to His voice and act according to His will.

We invite every FCI member to participate in our weekly corporate prayer meeting as we allow ourselves to be positioned and moved by His Spirit to see His kingdom come and His will done in the wonderful city Liverpool.

Youth Ministry - REGENERATION

Regeneration - Defining the next generation!

“See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
   and streams in the wasteland.”
 - Isaiah 43:19

Throughout scripture, we see that God is a God of the new. His mercies are “new every morning”. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

We have a new covenant and a new birth through Christ Jesus (Hebrews 9:15, John 3:7), and in the age to come, we shall enjoy a new heavens and a new earth. (Revelation 21:1)

In the same way, we see a new generation of world changers boldly declaring and establishing His kingdom and showing forth His glory.

Music Ministry

As the people of God, we are called to:

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!" - Psalms 100:4

Praise and worship is an integral part of church life. We are blessed to have a team of skilled and committed musicians and singers who have dedicated themselves in service to the Lord, to lead His people into His presence.

As a church, we make it a priority to offer exuberant praise and worship to the Lord our God because He is worthy.

We make room for the Spirit of God to feel welcome in our midst, to do what He desires to do as we set our hearts and minds to hear from Him in our services.

“Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to Him with ten strings.

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.”

Psalms 33:2,3

Hospitality Ministry

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Spirit of a servant.

Jesus said:

“the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28

The Hospitality ministry of the church is another tremendous way in which we can minister to God’s people.

After every Sunday service, we gather in the foyer for some light snacks and refreshments. This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship and foster deeper relationships with the church family and with new visitors to our community.

We’re so grateful to have a gifted hospitality team who love to serve the church with great food and refreshments each week.

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." Proverbs 11:25

Creative Kids Program

The creative kids program is a NSW Government initiative that provides an opportunity for children and young people to have access to extra-curricular activities that they may not otherwise be able to afford.

Parents, guardians and carers can claim a $100 voucher from the NSW government to put towards the cost of registration, participation and tuition in creative activities such as music, dance and singing.

This voucher is not means tested, and is available to all school-aged children and young people in NSW each year for the duration of the program.

At FCI, we hosted our first Creative Kids program in December 2020 we’re we were able to provide professional tuition to children in singing, playing guitar, keyboard and drums.
